Oxford’s replica of this 1960s Jensen Interceptor has been modelled in both 1:43rd and 1:76 scale, representing the real-life Mk III upgrade of this GT Class car, each of which was handmade by Jensen Motors of West Bromwich between 1966 and 1976.
Making its latest 1:76 scale debut, the car appears in a dramatic gloss black with masses of contrasting chrome external trim, including the window frames – we just love that wrap-around wide rear window! Extra refinements see a fine gold line painted along the waist of the model and the authentic wheels featuring a centre wheel boss in bright blue. The Jensen badge in silver and red sits on the edge of the bonnet while the Interceptor name is embedded in the silver and black radiator grille. The interior is also completely black apart from a tan steering wheel. The car is registered FKG 320M from 1974, just two years before this classic British ‘grand tourer’ ceased production.
